This is an escape illusion where a magician escapes from a giant mechanical Tyrannosaurus Rex (referred to as T-Rex) on stage. Here is a shorter version of its sypnosis.
ACT 1
The magician is laid on a diamond plate platform and chained down, like a sacrifice from a movie.
ACT 2
The audience does not know that a T-Rex is inside a large dangerous crate. The platform is on the other end of the wheeled tracks. The box is colored in a darker wood stain with dangerous animal air vents with a big giant lock that all breaks open. The front feeding platform has four poles and has red strobes on top.
ACT 3
Off in the distance, you hear a loud roar. As the magician starts trying to get himself/herself free as if it's supposed to be a normal escape from the chains, you hear a louder, closer roar. The front box breaks open and the T- Rex walks out. The assistants run off stage with some broken parts of the box, warning red lights start flashing along the tracks and around the platform. The magician starts to struggle harder trying to escape quickly, but that gets the T-Rex’s attention on him. The T-Rex is walking towards the magician, breaks one of the red flashing lights with a small bit of sparks. By then, he/she gets one lock picked but there are more! The T-Rex keeps moving forward, going up and down, side to side.
ACT 4
While the magician is still trying to escape, a curtain mechanically goes up around him on 3 sides. An assistant runs out on stage with an electrical zapper and starts trying to zap the T-Rex to keep it in line and not to attack the magician.
ACT 5
The shadow has many movements in the curtained area, trying to escape the chains and reaching up or under the cloth throwing out his hat (an item).
ACT 6
The magician cannot get the last feet lock or waist lock, but he/she is able to sit up. This is the shadow at that time and the T-Rex comes in for the big bite behind the cloth. The T-Rex comes down for the bite. T-Rex comes up with a piece of the sleeve hanging off the mouth. The curtain comes down and the magician is gone. The T-Rex does a giant mechanical roar and then starts walking backwards and bowing down as the lights fade out. The magician reappears elsewhere.
